It's More Than the War Against Iraq

We protest more than imminent war; we protest the development of a war culture. We call the Administration’s bluff as to the question of just who-the-hell’s interests are really being served by creating a centuries-long conflict.

I will watch the sons of privilege financially exempt from harm as my children are starved into military service. I will see the triage management of citizenry, treatment withheld for the disabled and elderly, by a government that decides it cannot waste resources on the non-productive. I’ll experience a climate of suspicion, non-tolerance, paranoid, ever alert for the hidden terrorist; social disorder as neighbors battle neighbor to acquire even the most meager needs of survival. Finally, I’ll lose my children’s’ souls as they’re purged of any idea of benevolent society, peaceful resolution, or the dream that their world could be any different. The trade? This coalition government controls energy from resource to production to distribution, thus control of civilization. They’ll watch the chaos like Caesars, amused at the game.

That’s the stakes. This administration will cut your throat unless you, the American citizen, rise up and fight the blade.
