From Jakarta:
Now Bush Is More Hated Than Saddam

Hi David,
I was so glad to find your website. I found it while searching for "doublespeak" propaganda by Bush and his team for preparing my radio talk show last Saturday. I got many inputs from your website. During the two-hour program, we got many callers expressing their angers and frustrations towards the US aggression to Iraq. I particularly stated to the viewers that we should differentiate between the American people and the US government, and those who are supporting the war are only victims of the Bush's propaganda. It is too bad that your president has ruined the American respectability. Most Indonesians have been condemning the oppressive regime of Saddam, but now Bush is considered to be much worse and more brutal than Saddam. I appreciate your work on countering the gov't propaganda, helping your fellow countrymen to develop antibodies to it, which otherwise it will subvert the rational thought of the majority. I believe what Voltaire said: "As long as people believe in absurdities, they will continue to commit atrocities"

Nice to get in touch with you.
RM

PS. There was a big antiwar protest in Jakarta today. More than a million people marched on the street.
