CBS is granted an audience with the king

We read in "The Washington Post" the "The President" has "granted" an interview to 60 minutes' Scott Pelley, who we hear is "pleased and proud."

The article tells us that "Pelley was a relentless pitchman. He had eight meetings with White House aides over the last nine months, including Chief of Staff Andrew Card, then-counselor Karen Hughes, Fleischer and communications director Dan Bartlett."

Pitchman and ass-kisser supreme. Don't look for any tough questions. This will be pure P.R. for "The President." Ecch.
