Beatles in the Trashcan

Because Michael Jackson outbid Paul McCartney for rights to the Beatles song catalog, then turned around and sold the catalog to Sony, the songs are now turning up in all sorts of trashy commercials. Thanks Michael.

Here's a guy who at one time was selling a million copies a week of his album "Thriller," who was one of the most successful recording artists ever, but so little valued his own name and reputation as to do commercials for Pepsi. He destroyed his own face. And he threw the treasure of the Beatles' music to the dogs of commercials.

See The Guardian for the old clipping about Jackson's sale of the catalog. See your TV for the trashy commercials.
