Blackout of the OppositionWhen 19 Democratic congressmen called a press conference to proclaim their opposition to Bush's rush to war, the media ignored it. On the Sunday political talk shows after the press conference the war was the main topic of conversation, but none of the dissenters were invited to speak. It was like it never happened.
