Conservative He Ain't
Ted Rall's latest op-ed on Yahoo News "Sometimes Right-Wing Doesn't Mean Conservative" delineates thoroughly why George W. Bush is not a conservative."In 2000 Democrats ridiculed the first part of Bush's 'compassionate conservatism,'" Rall says. "Little did they suspect that the last half would turn out to be the real joke."
I've been saying this for a long time. Bush is no conservative. That's just another one of his lies. Rall takes time to carefully build the argument. In terms of virtually everything the word conservative has been traditionally defined by, Bush is not it.
