Corporate Reform: Gone with the Winds of War

According to Molly Ivins, corporate reform is over. These highwaymen will get through the election with all the attention focused on the bogus war frenzy, and who is going to notice that the corporate big guys stepped in and snuffed out corporate reform while they thought no one was looking.

Now it's a few weeks before election time. Will the strategy work? Somehow, the Bushies have managed to fool a large segment of the population into believing that there is some great urgency to fight a war right now before the election and it's not really just a distraction from the mess they have put us in.

Read it and weep.

Then call, write and otherwise bug your congressmen/women. And vote, and not for Republicans. Republicans are too damn dangerous.
