My Letter to CSPAN

Where Were You?

What did you cover this weekend as millions marched for peace around the world in a historic first-ever global peace demonstration? What was it that was so important?

I don't know because I was not watching CSPAN. I was out at the demonstration in New York with half a million others. And those who were there represent millions of others who didn't brave the cold and ride hundreds of miles to join a protest, but who were there in spirit.

Americans are going to escalate their demands upon their media. As consumers we don't have to take whatever you dish out. When millions are willing to use their bodies to show that the media and the politicians are not getting the message, you are becoming irrelevant.
