Pray for the Anointed One

Just when you think they can't get any more disgusting ...

Australia's ABC is reporting acts of arrogance and cluelessness that top anything yet. American troops are now being coerced into praying for George W. Bush, the cause of their worst problems.

While Prince George remains safe and pampered as he has been all his life, these grunts are being forced to endure hellish physical conditions and even worse trials of the soul. And now they have to pray for him!

This is more than a suggestion, believe it or not. According to the report, "Thousands of marines have been given a pamphlet called 'A Christian's Duty,' a mini prayer book which includes a tear-out section to be mailed to the White House pledging the soldier who sends it in has been praying for Bush."

The pledge says: "I have committed to pray for you, your family, your staff and our troops during this time of uncertainty and tumult. May God's peace be your guide." Can you imagine being subjected to this indignity on top of what they are already being forced to endure? It's practically unbelievable.

This doesn't even touch upon the true blasphemy of connecting Bush's infamous Iraq project with Christianity. Bush's cynical perversion of Christianity is one of the worst of his many crimes.

But this is how it is going to all come crashing down. As night follows the day, the colossal arrogance of these Bushmen will be their downfall. Pride comes before a fall just as much today as throughout history. These men cannot change the laws of nature.

Just as they have abused and insulted practically everyone they come in contact with, they are now severely abusing the military, trying to squeeze it and twist it to carry out their profane wishes. But when you see a glimpse like the one about the prayer pamphlets, you know they cannot sustain this modus operandi. They are creating their own downfall.
