Billions for the Wealthy -- Hail Bush!
A single provision of Bush's latest tax cut will net Bill Gates $50 million. Cheney will net $327,000 from it. Bush $44,500. Each of the five children of the late Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton will save $197 million on their taxes under the Bush plan. Working people will receive little or nothing. The five Walton heirs will save more than the million people who work at Wal-Mart. (See wsws.org.)But SHHH! We'd better not talk about it. That would be engaging in Class Warfare. (See Boston Globe.)
