Congress May Live to Regret War Resolution

David E. Anderson of Winter Haven, a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies based in London, a former scientific and technical advisor in the United States Air Force's Senior Executive Service who served in the White House in the Office of Telecommunications Policy, in the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Defense Research and Engineering, and the Office of Defense Test and Evaluation, writes that Congress May Regret War Resolution.

Containment and deterrence worked with the Soviet Union, why wouldn't it work with Iraq, who has no nuclear weapons but only wishes? Inflaming the Middle East with more war is a foolish, nearly suicidal act. Don't let them get away with it.
